Finding Your Router At Home

Step 1

Look near the place where your internet enters the home. The router is often near a wall outlet, desk, or television stand.

Step 2

Find the box with several small lights on the front. It may also have a label from your internet provider.

What to check

If you see lights marked power, internet, or Wi-Fi, you are likely looking at the router.
